Each FOODTECH member offers a wide array of services for the food and bio-products industry. While there is broad food technology expertise across all Centres, some offer unique or specialized technologies, such as extraction, which can be applied to various raw materials. Additionally, some Centres have evolved commodity-specific expertise, such as meat or seafood processing, in response to the dominant industry sector(s) in their region.
