Health Canada’s Guidance Documents to reduce Sodium in Foods
Health Canada is pleased to announce the release of the “Guidance for the Food Industry on Reducing Sodium in Processed Foods”. The purpose of this document is to provide direction to the food industry to continue sodium reduction efforts and help Canadians achieve the average sodium intake goal of 2300 mg per day by 2016. 

They recently held a webinar to explain the guidance documents, including the Guiding Benchmark Sodium Reduction Levels, and to answer your questions regarding the document.  The webinar will be archived for a one year period.
